Day The World Ended/ She-Creature, The (Full Frame, Widescreen) "The Day The World Ended" - When a series of strange and grisly murders begins to plague a remote rural town, residents suspect Jennifer Stillman (Kinski), a big-city child psychologist who has recently moved to the area, is to blame. Undeterred by the town's hostility, Jennifer launches herself straight into her new job as the school psychologist and soon befriends and helps a young boy Ben, (Edner) who is being bullied. Ben, the adopted son of the local doctor, displays strange behaviors and abilities, and believes that his real father is an alien monster. As more and more murders unfold, will the town finally realize that the murderer walks among them but is not human! "She-Creature" - Is the sexy and stylish horror thriller starring Rufus Sewell ("A Knight's Tale"), Carla Gugino ("Spy Kids," TV's "Spin City"), and Gil Bellows (TV's "Ally McBeal," "The Shawshank Redemption"). With special effects by the legendary monster maker Stan Winston ("Alien," "The Terminator," "Jurassic Park"), "She Creature" is a winning combination of eye-popping visuals mixed with good, old-fashioned storytelling to create a terrifying tale of mermaids and mayhem. Angus (Sewell) and Lillie (Gugino) are traveling the Irish countryside with their carnival sideshow when they befriend a wealthy old sailor. After giving him a ride to his castle, he shows them his deadly prize: a real, live mermaid held captive in a tank. Eager for fame and fortune, Angus and his crew steal the sea creature and make plans to set sail for America. After loading their cargo and boarding a boat, they soon learn that the animal they possess is as dangerous as it is beautiful. But nothing can prepare them for the horror that awaits them as their boat drifts further and further out to sea.
Volumetric display - A volumetric display device is a graphical display device that forms a visual representation of an object in three physical dimensions, as opposed to the planar image of traditional screens that simulate depth through a number of different visual effects. Although first postulated in 1912, volumetric displays are still under development, and have yet to reach the general population. Display device - A display device is a device for visual or tactile presentation of images (including text) acquired, stored, or transmitted in various forms. While most common displays are designed to present information dynamically in a visual medium, tactile displays, usually intended for the blind or visually impaired, use mechanical parts to dynamically update a tactile image (usually of text) so that the image may be felt by the fingers. Terminal emulator - A terminal emulator, terminal application, term, or tty for short, is a program that emulates a "dumb" video terminal within some other display architecture. Visual PinMAME - Visual PinMAME is a program (a COM class) that works on top of Visual Pinball that allows for 3-D renderings of actual pinball table designs. Specifically, Visual PinMAME is for emulating ROM chips used in more modern pinball tables, as opposed to tables with mechanical scoring and/or tables with just LED scoring display and solid-state electronics but which have no ROM chips in their design.

Early terminals were connected to a mainframe computer. Undeterred by the town's hostility, Jennifer launches herself straight into her new job as the school psychologist and soon befriends and helps a young boy Ben, (Edner) who is being bullied. When using a graphical user interface like the X Window System, this occupies the virtual terminal that would be used for entering data into, and displaying data from, a computer or a computing system. Using the monitor and keyboard, current operating systems like Linux and the BSD derivates feature virtual terminals, which are still widely emulated in software.
